Wow its been a LONG time since I last visited DA. Wouldn't you know soon as I visit, My sub expires. Oh well.
It will be fun for the last few days to see whats changed around here.

A lot has happened since my last journal entry. Time really flew! We were able to buy a house in the country. A new 3 br house on 5 acres of forest. Lovely but tons of work. I want to clean up the forest and put in gardens. (maybe in 10 yrs) Something to shoot for at any rate.
We pay a ton for crappy internet but at least we HAVE internet, right? I can't really upload much without killing
it, but I can chat. That is something.

Walls are still bare drywall in a few rooms yet. I have painted most of them. My master bedroom, bath, and walk in closet is next on the list. Somehow I have to move my crap out to do it. We downsized to half the size we used to have so its a bit cramped. I still have a half a garage full of boxes to go through.

My biggest complaint (besides the internet) is the long drive to anywhere. Can't just run to the store out here. The nearest grocery is 45 min away! I'm learning to keep several extras in the pantry on most items.
